Electronic records are nice, my company has just started the process of going digital, and I've slowly become one of the point-people in it. However, the numbers I was seeing floating around earlier, something like $2 million per hospital, aren't nearly enough to do a good job of going digital. One local hospital where I live has already pumped well over $10 million into their transition, and their job isn't even done.

VA as in Veteran's Affairs? Nice records? HA! They have been awful in all my experiences with them.
