No, the pain only lasts 5-7 hours during a flare up. My gall bladder isn't infected otherwise I would be sitting in the hospital right now having it removed. I have gall stones which block the flow of bile (the stuff that helps your body digest fat) and that is what is causing my pain. I'm fine right now if I stay away from fatty foods. I guess one positive in all of this until I figure out how I'm going to take care of it I'm going to be losing weight quicker.

I had gallbladder attacks for 8 years before I finally got mine taken out. So, good news is you can wait til you have insurance!!! Like you said, watch the foods you eat. I always found brocolli to be really bad too!!

Well, I've been researching online and it seems to me that they are very quick to wanting to put me under the knife. He said my gall bladder looked good it's just there is some stones in there. I have found some websites talking about flushing gall stones out. I think I may try this before resorting to any extremes.
Well, I guess that we all learned a lesson today. That it's what's inside a person that counts. And that on the inside, midgets are thieving little bastards.
