Yes, but in mathematics you must work inside the definitons of the system you are using. Which is what causes the result in the first place. Opinions don't mean anything no matter who you are, if you can't prove what your thinking is based on the definitions and any other previously proved work then your thinking is wrong.
Here is the best I can do for you: Real numbers are defined as limits of sequences of Rational numbers.
Limit {0, 9/10, 99/100, 999/1000,...} = 1 and that sequence is 0.999...
