yes there is a language for mathematics because it has it's own terminology just like in science. do you think the periodic table of the elements wouldn't count as it's own language? because every one of those elements were given a name. but those elements needed proof of existence before being named, anything without proof is just a theory. so .999... would have to have actual proof of = 1 other than just someone saying it equals 1. Shit i could say 1 = 2 but that doesn't make it true, because it isn't and that can be proven by the very bases of what numbers are.
