I think I've said this before, but my god, it seems like only dumbasses call in nowadays! It's become way more obvious since Steve started making the flashback two to four year old segments, and the callers in those actually provide interesting and intelligent conversation.

I've noticed this, too, but, as a new listener, I was unaware that the callers were ever intelligent. I wonder if they intentionally screen for morons because it's entertaining to listen to the guys tear them up.

I actually think it's gotten worse in the last year or so. I don't know why, but pre-2009 everyone seemed much more amusing.
