If you come to America, speak english. It's an easy concept. If I was going to live in Mexico, France, Spain, etc. I would learn the language before I went, or at least make an effort to learn it while there.

Is there anyone on here whose first language was not English but learned it before coming to the United States or because of the effort they made when they got here? The majority of the immigrants that I know, legal and illegal know some English so there has to be some out there. If so, I'd be interested in your opinion.
