Wow, even all the mac users i know hate Safari and use an alternative instead. It really is a fairly crap browser all things considered (granted if it was a choice between IE or Safari, id take safari but that's not saying much)

What's wrong with Safari? I just started using a mac a few months ago and it seems fine to me.

It has a few little "quirks" that make people generally not fans. That and most mac users at least that i know tend to love themselves some firefox.

I've used IE mostly, I used firefox for a little while, and when I'm at school, I use safari, and I simply can't see where one is superior to any of the others, just different flavors of the same soup.

well from a security standpoint, firefox is miles beyond IE. Much malware is installed through IE exploits.

The cosmetic appeal though? add-ons. You can make firefox do ANYTHING you want.

I downloaded Firefox but when I couldn't watch videos from it (it made me go to an external site everytime) I stopped using it.

right now i'm using maxthon (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.maxthon.com/">http://www.maxthon.com/</a><!-- m -->), and the last one i used was opera. maxthon seems to have the functionality of IE, but also has the helpful capabilities of Firefox or Opera.

Opera is great, but doesn't have support for a lot of things yet.

IE is slower than piss, and one time Firefox pissed me off so i started searching around for other browsers...
