This is the last time that I am going to explain this. I don't care if you or anyone else doesn't like it.
The sex thread, in and of itself, was fine when it stayed in bounds. The problem is that it started spider webbing into a lot of different threads and a lot of people were complaining (publicly and by PM). So I asked that it be contained to the one thread where only those who would be interested in reading it could do so.
It was also sequestered to an "invite only" section of the forum so that anyone under 18 couldn't read it. I wasn't about to go back and deny access to the forum retroactively to minors. It had to be done to keep the board from being shut down.
Then that thread turned into a snipe-fest with a few people trying to cause a fissure in the board by using wiles and vehement snideness to keep others, who otherwise made great contributions to the board, away from the main board.
So there you have it. Agree with the whole thing or not, that's how it is. This is the last time I am addressing this ridiculous hill that isn't worth your time defending.
