I know it's tricky with some of the stunts, trying to film without people knowing but GD Gary sucks. I think in the ashhole challenge he is about 20 blocks away. Maybe the FBHW show should invest in some hidden cameras when he does stunts like the ashhole or any of the hobo stunts. Give Joe a hidden cam and someone following him so you can have two cameras fimling.

Having a hidden camera in Michigan is a felony. You don't like GD Gary filming it? Listen to the podcast then, or close your eyes when the pictures come on. Honestly, are you expecting Oscar-quality footage? GD Gary is "Amateur News Enthusiast," and Joe videos are clearly humanist/feature stories.

That changes things a little. I still stand by what I said for a new cameraman though. You don't have to have "oscar quality" to actually being able to see Joe eat ashes. Yes actually I am aware seeing as how from 6-10 I turn on my radio and lo and behold there is the Free Beer and HotWings Show right on cue every morning. You see what i'm talking about are VIDEOS that they post on their website under the What Can Joe Do section. You might have been confused when I was speaking to clearly.

Hey man everything i'm talking about as far as Gary's quality is stuff the show has already mentioned. The only "bitching" I have done was suggesting they find someone else. I'm not saying hey fire him for being retarded, because obviously he does more at the station than just make Joe videos. As far as me focusing on the wrong things in life to complain about, I agree 100%, but as it stands I am on a FreeBeer and Hot Wings message board and this is what I have chosen to talk about. I would be curious to be a fly on the wall where you are and see how much you practice what you preach. To be honest, however, what does the fact that it's a radio show have to do with getting good angles? Are you saying it's impossible?

oh yes how fortunate for us that we are blessed with visual aids. because that is the only reason they do videos, just to please us. :  the videos get out there, and help spread the word. sure the stunts are funny enough with just the audio, the video adds much more to it. like paintball gauntlet. imagine if gary filmed that one from 1000 feet away? no way it would have gone viral.

Yeah so I just did some research. It is not illegal to have hidden cameras in Michigan. It is only illegal on private property when you don't have permission. Michigan is one of 13 states with such a law. So I think no one is getting arrested.

Yeah this is correct, it is only illegal to have a hidden camera on private property without permission or in private areas like dressing rooms restrooms and such.
However the private property part of the law also extends to audio recordings, so if they were not video taping because of a possible breaking of that law they can get in as much trouble for the audio recording.
