I thought the new batman movies were great, and much better than the first ones. The first ones were cool when you were a kid. But the new movies were closer to the comic books. The only thing I didn't like about the Dark Knight was the chick, she looked really old and worn out, eh... at least her character died.
Thanks for telling us a part of the movie, especially since there are two of us that said that we will watch it in the next few days. Boo to you!! I hate when people do that. Although I wish someone would have ruined The Village for me so I didn't have to sit through that garbage. Have never seen an M. Night movie since.
Well, I guess that we all learned a lesson today. That it's what's inside a person that counts. And that on the inside, midgets are thieving little bastards.

When I lived in Maine, and had not yet seen The Sixth Sense, a good friend of mine began to ruin the movie for me, so I stopped him in his place and said "DO NOT tell me anything about this movie, I haven't seen it yet!"
He then replied, "Well I'm not going to say anything, but I can't believe the guy was dead."
Stupid dick.

I usually ask if someone has seen the movie before talking about it, and if they haven't, I am very careful not to give anything away.

I'm the kind of guy who buys movies without watching them. I just got 4/$20 at Blockbuster.
We Own the Night
There Will Be Blood
Live Free or Die Hard
Blades of Glory
So which one should I watch first? Any thoughts?

What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Last night. I thought it would be a classic Depp WTF affair, but it was actually quite good. Pretty touching actually.

Also saw The Color of Money for the umpteenth time the night before last. Ridiculously good movie. Especially considering Newman and Cruise actually executed most of those shots.
The Color of Money is to pool as Rounders is to poker. Check it out if you haven't.

just saw it this weekend....didn't live up to the hype.
I should smite you. The Dark Knight was a great movie. Ledger deserves and award for this. He was awesome.

meh
I liked the darkness of the movie...I liked the 'new' joker. Ledger was one of my favorite actors, he did a decent job....
It sat on par with Spider-man 3 I think....
more:
The dude who played batmat had a crappy 'batman' voice. Plays a good Wayne but a shitty batman. I like the idea of the R&D being so big in the movie...the brains behind the gadgets so to say....
Batman just sucks... :-X

Before this post I had a theory. I thought you hated DC comic movies, and loved Marvel ones. You're a self claimed Marvel nut, I thought you were taking it a little too far.
and by a little I mean WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY too far!!!!

I figure I won't see this in theaters because of all the negative reviews. Normally that doesn't sway my decision but your the first person I have heard that actually liked it.
