Hoping the cookie dough I ordered from someone back in November actually gets to me before Christmas.

Weather in TN is so weird. Its almost 70 degrees out today, tomorrow will be warm too, but saturday night will start cooling down, and sunday the low is 13 degrees. I packed up my warm weather clothes earlier this month and had to pull out something to wear today. Its not s'posed to get crazy like this till spring. (redbud winter, dogwood winter, etc., etc.)

Right now, I'm tired as hell. Mom wanted to go out Christmas shopping, so I had to move my Explorer, that has no working 4x4. I got it stuck at the end of our driveway. It took 4 people, and me punching it to 5k rpm to get it out (mother effing broken 4x4!!!). After that, the 6 members of the 0rz0skis and our neighbor spent 1.5 hours digging out our driveway, cars, sidewalks, and a strip of road so that my neighbor's wife can have a less bumpy drive when she transports her dying parents back and forth from the hospital.

Sounds like my day. My office closed at one due to the weather. I got stuck for 20 minutes trying to get out of our PARKING LOT. Finally got out and began the trek home. Got stuck at the end of my street for another 10 minutes, before I was able to get pulled out, right as the city plows arrived to do the road. My arms are going to fall off after all the shoveling I did once I was finally able to get to my house. |
