Just take this information VERY carefully and be sure to read the full details. Promise #1 was "to end this war". He didn't end the war. He shifted focus to Afghanistan. There's still a war going on.
Also of note, while he did appoint one Republican to the administration, how is this "change"? It's the same partisan crap that has always lived in the White House.
