Okay peeps, lets start planning the midsummer get together.
I'm think of aiming it somewhere around July 19th

The only issue there is that there is now an admission to get into the park...I'm up for camping....always good fun when fires and tents are involved.

I think an activity would be good.
Maybe Craigs Cruisers (I just want to see about 10 grown adults walk in and start playing games, laser tag, mini golf, and go carts)
Another option would be a park like stated above.. maybe one that offers different stuff than just swimming such as disc golf, fishing, etc..
The Break Room has good deals during the weeknights if you guys shoot pool at all... maybe we could do a board tournament with a small buyin to cover the green fees and the winner getting recognition on the board via status or avatar.
Whatever it ends up being, just give me enough of advanced notice, and I will make sure I get the time off.

Since when? I have been there about 5 or 6 times already this year to use the bike trails. They do charge for the splashpad/swimming, but just going into the park is free, or at least I haven't had to pay yet.

What weekend is the Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven? People at work are thinking about entering in to the Beach Run 5k and I wouldn't want it to interfere.

How about a cook out at Johnson Park? They have grills there. I'd supply the charcoal and everyone could bring whatever meat they wanted and perhaps a dish to pass? It's a big park and they have a lot of playground equipment for the kids (if you have them).
