I maybe slow about this but I did not get todays podcast. I knew the guys were going on vacation next week. Did their vacation start today? Let me know if anyone else had the same problem.

I was only able to get the first segment through iTunes, but I could download the other ones just by following the link that was sent to me by email.

No, you buy a subscription through the website and they send you a link to the feeds, which you enter into your podcasting software of choice. The majority of the people tend to use iTunes because they have iPods, which is why it keeps getting mentioned. It also seems to be the root of the problem. I use the Zune software and had 0 issues with the feed for the day.

If you subscribe today it should be activated soon enough that "your" segment should still be attainable.
