| Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01  | I checked the search and there wasn't anything about this new movie in it at all. I just wanted to know if any of you are near Red Bank, New Jersey and are maybe in any of the view askew films or even if they are like where you are. I personally am from Texas and we love the films down here and can't wait for the new one to come out. Then again if ya'll are near there you all probably know them personally. I can only dream I guess. The only people I get to meet are Shawn Micheals, Marty Jannety, and the Rock. All great guys mind you but not Kevin Smith or Jason Mewes. Kevin, Jay, Walt, Mosier, Byran Johnson.... not uncommon. Fairly sure Walt gets quite annoyed by fan worship though. And it will be the last movie with those characters. They will be "retiring" the Jay and Silent Bob characters. But the movie is in the works and should be out soon. Same way how they are making a movie based on the Pitfall game and the filmmakers want Bruce Campbell (YES!!!!) but the studio wants Ben AFfleck. Give some other guys a chance. That sucks ass and I hope my information is outdated. Lee deserves the title role - Affleck is not funny - period. He is the bully or the crying romantic lead... or Matt Damon's friend, that's about it. But saying that Affleck HAS to be in every Mirimax film is pretty funny - and sad but true.
