| Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01  | Today I was in the subway, and there's all these new signs at all the stops saying the "W" train stops there. I know I've never seen that shit before. What's even more fucked up is that it isn't even on the map. I was waiting at a couple of stations for a while and I didn't see any W train either. Is someone fucking with people's heads?? | Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | Where have you all been for the last month? And I was wondering why they kept pounding and pounding the announcement into our heads. Heres the deal: B in brooklyn becomes W,... D and Q are replaced by local Q and express Q, respectively, and represented by Q in a circle and Q in a diamond, also respectively.Also, they will run on the N/R lines into Manhattan stopping at express stops on the N/R until 57th, and transfer to the B and D will be available at 34th. And by the look of the symbol on the map, its gonna be a LOOONG walk for the transfer, kinda like Atlantic to Pacific. And they seem to have changed all the maps in the train cars a week in advance. If I were you, not to mention me, I would, and will, get out early on monday because its gonna be a little screwed up.

I wonder if they're just gonna change the signs in half the D trains to yellow Q signs. Btw, why are they changing the goddamn color!? I like my orange line.

I think I got a better understanding of the change after reading the info written in Chinese. For real though, I think it will appear pretty easy once we all take these trains a few times. Just allow yourself a little extra time of the 24th. | ||||
