For a year and a half, I worked at a radio station doing whatever I could to move up. Unfortunately, there was a severe bottleneck. Because the pay in radio sucks, I had to take a second temp job just to make ends meet. It was harsh, but I loved radio and I plugged away because I knew if I paid my dues, I'd move up.
Fortunately, I parlayed my experience at the radio station into a job doing music promotion, and I don't miss the station at all. The personalities I deal with are great (as opposed to some of the psychopaths at the station) - I get all the free CD's I can get my hands on - and I have a set schedule with my weekends off, a luxury I didn't have at the station.
So I love my job.

I'm lucky to have a job with the fiscal mess California is in right now. I don't care much for the job, but I know my job and industry very well. If I could just vaporize a few individuals, my work life would be ideal.

I'd have to say that on the whole I love what I do. So as far as the work itself, I'm extremely happy. I cannot stand the people I work for. It used to be better, but recently the administration at my hospital has been playing games with us. You'd think they didn't know there is a nursing shortage. Essentially, they're ruining the environment to the point that they are losing nurses rather than recruiting them.
It's frustrating to say the least.

i love my job, hate my manager.....but i thikn im gonna be getting a new manager...hes an O&A fan so this means raise for me!!!!!!!!!!!!! heehe ok not really, but boy do i wish

my job is fun, i like pretty much everyone i work with, almost. the money's not great right now but i'm optomistic about the fall. plus i get to hang out and drink for free which is a definite bonus.
