just because he came back with warnings of possible things to come, I don't see that as him altering history - in fact, based on what I read it seems the path we are on is basically set and there isnt all that much we can do about it aside from take steps to prepare. He did mention that water is scarce, so maybe that's his way of saying "start saving up water".

I just found this site today so I can't really comment on whether I believe it or he is valid in any way - but he does make some interesting points, the Iraq line was especially chilling.

Is time travel possible? I think it is, but should we use it? I don't think so - as for why he didnt try to go back and prevent anything, well why would he? In all seriousness, changing a huge event like that could totally reshape future events, so why would he or anyone wanna take a chance like that? If your parents were born because they met through circumstances brought upon by WWII and you go back in time to prevent the war from happenming, the chances of your parents meeting now dissapates - as does your existence.

I know it sounds all Back To The Future, but I think the theory behing trevelling through time is solid, but the ethics involved are just as solid.
