Actually I think it was all over the news before they ever had a suspect. As for the low crime rate theory that could factor into it.
Still, I have to go with the pretty white theory. No way in a million years would this woman have any mention anywhere if she were kidnapped.

And as for Tawana Brawley, I think that became a bigger story than it needed to be all because Reverend Al had to stick his big ass in on that. Then again when doesn't he get involved in a white on black crime. You sure as hell don't see him rushing to the defense of any families involved in black on black or hispanic on black crimes.

But, I digress. It really is sad that the news stations are only involved or interested in this case because of what the girl looks like. How would you feel if you had a family member taken, but because she wasn't pretty enough to sell news, you got absolutely no mention or help from around the country?
