He's a silly little goofball and as you analyze eveything in ridiculous detail from your Ivory White Republican WASP Tower..."silly" doesn't register for you.
Plus, he speaks a lot of truth in between rambling & insane rants & carving up his forehead & so on.
Last, some of his music is actually very good too - I think so anyway.
