I think it was one of the first movies I remember seeing in the theater, definitly the first 3-D movie I saw in the theater, it was a hude deal back then.

I think the last 3-D movie I remember was Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare. It was only like the last 15 minutes of the movie that was in 3-D though, it was still kinda cool.

I did make a list of movies I now wanna see though, I think romero's "dead" series shoulda ranked higher though as well as "Last House On The Left" that movie is in my top 10.

i was never a big horror movie person. danielle is. like i had no interest in going to see the grudge with her. but sometimes one will come along that sparks my interest.

but i always have to make sure the closet door is closed before i go to sleep cause i think the boogie man will get me in the middle of the night if it isn't.

The horror genre has been lame for years, the whole scream trilogy was just horrendous. I know what you did last leap year whatever the fuck, that just put the nail in the coffin. The italian and asian horror films have been good through the years but you wanna see a horror film in your own language at times.

I wish there'd be a movie that would do that to me like in the old days.

The Ring was the closest movie in ages to somewhat scare me, though very very little. House of a 1,000 corpses was ok, not great but atleast Zombie tried, you could tell he tried.

I borrowed the Dawn Of The Dead remake from my cousin today. He's the biggest horror fanatic there is, he owns about 150 DVD's and I think 148 of them are horror films and the other 2 are the godfather set and scarface.

he told me it was good so I am looking forward to seeing it, he told me he wants me to see it before he says anything about it.

There's a few horror films that still scare me, exorcist, the first nightmare on elm street, last house on the left, films like that.

i'm a wuss when it comes to horror movies. i'll watch them with my hands over my eyes, or turn my head away when i sense something is gonna pop out of somewhere.


i work out in the middle of nowhere, where there is nothing but a pitch black sky & wild animals running around when i leave work at night. its like a horror movie waiting to happen.

I rented Ju-On a while back...the japanese movie that "the grudge" is a copy of and its scarier than the grudge is...although scary would be a bad term, creepy is more like it. The movie just gives you the heebie-jeebies. There is more blood, a couple more deaths, less dumbing down of the movie "explaining of the plot for the american audience" and maybe the most fucked up thing is its the same fucking cast as in the american one...except for the "american" versions of all the character...the creepy meowing fucker and his mom are the same as well as the dad, in fact its the same director for both, which is why the american movie was pretty decent. I recommend picking it up for a rental if you ever see it in your video store

the reason jaws was so scary was that you didnt see the shark for 3/4 of the movie.

Netflix has Audition as a rental. I was both enthralled and horrified. Fantastic movie.

It gets a little surreal at times and becomes a bit reminiscent of a David Lynch movie, but the symbolism therein is more coherent at the end of the film.

they must have recently re-released it because it was out of print at the time I mentioned it. You can still see the listings for like 75-120 bucks below the "new" ones.

I watched Saw and The Grudge tonight.

Saw was interesting... not really scary.

The Grudge was meh... dead Asians can freak anyone out, but there was so much shit that didn't coincide with the plot. Why was that jawless chink wandering around like something out of Night of the Living Dead? I was just pleased that Sarah bit it.

jacobs ladder, amityville horror and exorcist are the only horror movies that scared me. most horror flicks i find really juvenile and boring.

I gotta agree. Jacobs Ladder is a really freaky fucking movie. The Excorcist will always always freak me out cause my mom made me watch it when I was little and I think it traumatized me for life.

the Shining scared me, as did Blair Witch because I was dumb and impressionalbe and saw it the first weekend and thought it was real

the blair witch was an enjoyable first watch, it doesnt hold up for future viewings though.
