So my roommate Matt has been in Costa Rica for the last week. My roommate Jason was supposed to fly down to meet him there yesterday.
Matt just called saying that Jason never arrived and he never received any calls from Jason that they had planned in order to synch up. Jason was supposed to arrive in Costa Rica over 24 hours ago.
Now, some backstory. Jason is/was simply the dumbest person I've ever met. Until I met him, I thought that ADD was a bullshit condition. He has zero attention span, is on multiple prescription emotionally-stabling drugs, and communicates like a Down's patient.
He is dumb enough to miss a flight and not call anyone and tell them, or lose Matt's number in Costa Rica and not think of calling us to see if we can get a hold of Matt.
Should I call his parents and tell them that their son is missing? If so, how long should I wait?
I'm thinking this could just be a joke, since that would be pretty funny. This will allow me just ignore the situation until it is resolved without my assistance.
I'm going to go out drinking.
