| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70  | Hey guys as many of us vets know the few of us who are still here from last year. September 29, 2000 was our very first board event, the infamous bang party at the ESPN zone in the city. I have had this planned with a few others for months now. But due to the events of the last almost 2 weeks now, the plans have changed. We are still gonna have a get together but what i had planned will not be happening, hopefully another time. I was thinking of cancelling the whole shebang over the last 11 days but i feel after talking with several vets that we should get together. It will be healthy human contact for all of us to get together and just be together, have some drinks. We have all bonded on the board through lots of stuff including since what happened Sept 11th. We are not returning to the scene of last years crime/party which was the espn zone. Which is about 2 blocks from the WWF NY. For a few reasons which are: 1- no smoking at the lower bar, 2-Very small area at the bar, 3-they weren't too welcoming to us last time. The WWF NY has always been a great place for us. Plus it's all ages so everyone can come. They close early which sucks but we will break up into small groups and go elsewhere afterwards wether a bar or some may go home. If you have any ideas for a bar afterwards please post it. So anyway This coming friday the 28th @ The usual time 8, 8:30 or so at WWF NY in times square. The last friday of the month since we had the party on a friday, which coincidently the end of the 1st big brother. And afterwards like i said we will just go crash someplace else.
