I was at her concert at Jones beach and she wasn't doing that at all. Well the show looked good. I know I'll get every penny's worth when i see her Dec 5th at the garden.

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | that was awful. her lip synching was terrible, and the few times she attempted (key word being attempted) to sing, just sounded horrible. it just proves that all you have to be is a piece of ass in order to be a pop star. she has no talent what so ever. though i have to agree, britney wet...always hot. so basically she has to learn to keep her mouth shut and just stand there and look pretty.  when you've got an open hand i was supposed to be cool about this yeah i remember cool was the plan tried to keep it all under wraps but the wraps kept going slack i keep turning round i keep coming back... | ||||

(She looks sooo damn good in person) And I'll admit, i'm a huge britney fan. Yes her music isn't "real" music, but it's a treat. It's like eating that "cone" at mcdonalds. It tastes good, but unbekownst to many it doesn't have any ice cream whatsover. Britney's voice may not be strong, and her music may be highly produced. But honestly she puts a bright light on an otherwise bleak day, Especially these days. Her new album actually lifted my spirits. Sure the music may not have any redeming value, but it's a gulity pleasure for many. As her looks, yes she's hot but not really my type. For instance I like a girl who wear makeup at a tolreable mininum...among other things..(I love redheads w/ freckles) Anyway, a mod might as well put me as the board's official britney spears fan in my status. I don't think that will happen, but hey others have had a lot worse in their status.

| O&A Board Regular Registered: May. 00 | Hmm... The main reason why she sounded lip syched on HBO is due to the sound encoding. Those who had a dolby 5.1 speaker setup could her perfectly just like the people in Vegas. I hope they correct this for the DVD version of the concert and or the repeat thurs. It's a damn shame not to hear her real voice. (And yes she has a voice, abiet not a strong one. Thus her need for really good producers such as the Neptunes) She really puts on a great show and she doesn't lip synch at all her shows. This link here discusses this in further detail.
