| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | I went to Rider in Mercer County and had a blast. I too started off at Brookdale community for a year before I transferred. You should go hand out at some Rider or Trenton State Parties. They were always fun. I had a great time at college and wish I never left. I still go up there and hang with some friends. Your should get a fake ID and go to 14 on Saturday.  NEVER FORGET God Bless The USA. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 02 | Finishing pledging was awsome. Drinking 101 Bananas for the first time and going back and puking in the dorms. Having my best friend come down from New England and he had just started taking Zyban and not realizing it would double the effects of alchohol. Partying in the streets the day the Sixers won the first game of the Championship against the Lakers (didn't happen again). The day two of us went for dinner in the cafe and were there for over two hours because everyone we knew kept showing up and hanging around. (Sounds stupid, but for some reason it was a lot of fun). And of course just the stupid hanging out at someones house or in someones room with nothing to do.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I have lots of great memories from college...most of them involve a lot of drinking, pot and a few other things as well. Plus, waking up in the morning, seeing 6 or more inches of fresh snow on the ground and skipping class to go snowboarding most everyday. Ahh, life with no resonsibility, how I miss it. If I had to do over again, I wouldn't change a thing...well, maybe I wouldn't have taken that logic class but thats it. I highly recommend college life, it is where you learn a lot about not only yourself, but people in general...  | ||||

Played some drinking games and/or shot pool. I managed to convince some, on occasion, to attend a private cue-stick chalking - later, upstairs. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Going to Los Angeles for a semester with 60 of my buddies/classmates. Having a threesome with two chicks in my dorm. Getting arrested for telling an R.D. to fuck off. Getting drunk and playing at open mic blues night at the Nines every Monday. Getting high for the first time. Stickball out in the back alleyway behind my dorm. The first time I saw the girl who was to become the love of my life. The pain of losing her after graduation. Hanging out with the best buddies a guy could ever ask for, and having the best time of my life. Enjoy college. It's all down hill after that.

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 02 | Best College Memories- living off snickers and Jolt Soda during finals week, studying American and World History using Romance Novels (they're awful but historically accurate), eating cold pizza out of the fridge first thing in the morning, cutting class to go to the boat docks to tan in the spring, Keg parties, worrying about whether the fake id would work... So many great things about college, but you won't realize it until its all over. | ||||

Getting a keg with 5 people in the middle of the day and trying our best to take it down by ourselves. Skipping all your classes and smoking herb all day long. Waking up in random girls beds and not having any clue where you are until you step outside and see where on campus you are. Showing the RA's absolutely no respect. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Yeah, college should be a great time. you are in that in between part of life, where you make many of your own decisions, but you (usually) don't have to worry about things like food and rent.... I actually went to an academic institution (Cornell). My best friend went to a party school 30 minutes away (SUNY - Cortlandt). he came to visit me on a thursday and wondered why it was quiet on campus, and why I was doing work. I gave him a bottle of Jack Daniels and told him to come back at 11pm. When he came back I found out that he had raided an all-girls dorm, set off the fire alarm in another dorm, and gotten into a brawl (which he won) in a third dorm. Somehow he got out of all of this without getting in trouble. Personally, my memories are more tame. 500 keg Frat parties (they had those trucks with taps on the side pull up), The Pretenders gave a free concert (you remember - they played in the stone age) that turned into a mud-slide fest; Hockey games were big on campus (since they suck in football); Going to 20 different bars on my 20th birthday (legal then) getting a free drink in each and leaving.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | I went to SUNY-Binghamton Uni. All you could do up there was drink or study. Drinking was nice. Walking 15 minutes home from the bar, drunk with your friends. Seeing your roommate kick a hole in the door, then patching it up the next morning. NICE!! When i worked during the summer during summer break, the guys told me to stay in college as long as i can. i didn't believe them but now i do. after you graduate, spring break, winter break and summber break don't exist anymore. I go to the University of Maryland, which is a huge school, so pretty much theres always something cool to do around here on weekends. Basketball is great here (this is where i rub it in for duke losing again last night amy :)) and its just an awesome place to be. these next 3 years and change are going to be great here. I have the greatest memories of College, don't get me wrong, but I have three best buddies from College carrying on with me like we haven't missed a beat. | Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | Well since I'm graduating in May I have a lot of memories and even though i cant wait to get out i'm still gonna miss it. I go to St. John's University...Staten Island Campus aka the highschool! :) I miss the parties even though that scene kinda got old after the first 2 years. I remember typing a 20 page term paper the day before it was due and then oversleeping and getting to class 2 minutes before it was over to hand it in. Acutally I never went to class...the mall was 10 minutes away i spent most of my college years there! :) I remeber the "study groups" which usually turned into video game challeneges or nap time! I also remember when i was pledging a sorority.They nicknamed me Tye from Clueless and i had to dress like her and sing "rolling with my homies" whenever they wanted me to...that was pretty funny yet embarassing. College was great but i'm glad i never have to write a paper or take a test again in a few monthes! You think I'd leave your side baby...you know me better then that. You think I'd leave you down when you're down on your knees. I wouldnt do that. I'll tell you your right when you want and if only you could see into me.... | ||||

Anyway, I worked my ass off, especially in grad school. Even if I had wanted to, I never really had much time for anything else. I don't understand, and probably never will, the desire to attend college for the fun and hijinks associated with what we think the experience is all about. I despise the fools who think it's one big non-stop party, and just drift through assuming to graduate. I know a few who were shell-shocked upon graduating, unprepared for what awaited them beyond the walls of their safe school haven.
