| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70  | I was just wondering what kind of machines all of you people have. I know a few of us are into computers to an almost unhealthy level. Also, maybe we can use this thread to help each other out with hardware/software problems. My setup: PIII 800mhz 512mb ram 3 - Voodoo 3 3000 Vid Cards 2 - 17" monitors 1 - 15" monitor 30gb hard disk space scanner video capture digital camera Running dual-boot Windows 2000 Advanced Server and WindowsMe. No real problems, so far.

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 |  Why not? Basically, imagine having a bunch of windows open at once, without having to switch between them. I can have the board open, talk in IMs, and check my mail all at once. No more minimize this, maximize that, I've got a huge workspace to use, as opposed to 1024x768, I can have 3072x768.

The others are a 266 w/ 256 ram running win 2000 pro., and 15 in. mon, and an old laptop w/ win95, and a novell server. | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | I have an hp internal for like 2 years now, no problems with it. I've been think of upgrading to a faster burner, but I've heard the faster the burn, the more likely you'll be making coasters. Zooty, why go out? I've got the world right in front of me. ;)
