Isn't that a main selling point of Cable-that you NEVER have to log off? I would soo love that. EXCEPT.....see below: Kid, I only leave when I have to--- You know how that work thing gets in the way of real life?? Or, at least, Cyber life?? I hate that. *Edit, added for Austin* Breaks are definitely counted in, not a problem. Everybody's gotta eat, take a bathroom break, etc.. ...Ya know, spending all of your time EXCEPT for needed breaks, on your PC. That's what I'm asking about. At any given time, I was either downloading from Napster, posting on message boards, chatting on AOL, scouring the internet for things to purchase (materialism personified), or just gleaning info from the web about things that interest me. | O&A Board Regular Registered: May. 00 | On several occasions I must have stayed online 20 hours straight only stopping to eat or shit. I really don't do that anymore. I still love the net, but there a point where you can use it waaay too much. Esp. with a broadband connection at school!! When I get back this fall, I will try to actually have a life. I was up until 9:00 this morning working on a database application, so that was about a 15 hour stretch with only bathroom and meal breaks. I'm trying my hardest to be L33T LIEK JEFFK!!!

| Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | Yes, Can't, I believe we've discussed shopping in Foundry Chat--- & Online/Catalog shopping is definitely the way to go. Screw the mall (even, I'm sorry to say, Short Hills, or Garden State Plaza - unless there's a Sticker Stop ;) ) And as regards Games and Design- I've seen the Game Addiction in action- My GIJOE can sit here for 8 hours straight without doing ANYTHING but playing. I ended up getting hooked on pogo games like poppit. But by the end of the 10 hours my ass was killing me from sitting all day. And i thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head. :) Filzy's significant other and graduate. | ||||
