There are people who had no idea that they were getting a rebate, and there were people who had no idea how much they were going to get. A shameless political promotion for some, a notice for slack-jawed yocals to others I suppose. Who gives a crap, I gets my $600 cash dollars - that's more gooder than last year! It is simply a refund of Federal income tax that you paid during 2000. And to agree with Spork, I was amazed to find out how many idiots here at work had never heard or read anything about this before getting their notice yesterday. "Save my ups, deek." | ||||
