| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Aug. 00  | i know this is a weird subject, but its one thought of my day that might start a discussion that could help us all usually when im feelin extremely about something i write about it or draw it... for happiness you can draw a smile, sunny day, heart, whatever for sadness a sad face, gloomy, etc but when your feelin lost, lonely, confused, etc how do you express those feelings in a picture? | Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | We did an exercise similar to this in a writing class last semester. What we had to do was draw different feelings by using basic shapes or lines. (Can't use a smiley face for happiness, for example) For lonliness, I drew a bunch dots forming a circle in the center of the scene. Then I made an asterisk (representing the lonely person) in the corner of the scene. I think the point of the exercise was to express our insight with out any distractions from popular symbols or words. You Give Me Head, It Makes it Worse. Sheridan tells the story of being stranded in his Starfury with no enginges for a few days and how lonely it felt to be all alone without another person within lightyears. Dellen's line is in reference to the fact that she recently underwent the change and became half Minbari and half human. Humans don't like her because she's Minbari (hard feelings from the Earth/Minbari War) and Minbari reject her for not being pure Minbari, so she has no place with anyone.
