| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | What is something that you have seen in wrestling, that was like oh my god, that was not supposed to happen or just looked really bad or made you say Holy Shit. Owen hart does not count. It was not on camera. Some examples I thought of: Sid Vicious breaking his leg coming off the top rope against Scott Steiner. The match with Angle vs Shane where Angle kept trying to throw him through the glass, but the glass did not break and Shane landed on his head twice. Mae Young being put through a table off the rampway by the Dudley Boyz. Mick Foley being chokeslammed through the top of the cage at hell in the Cell and landing on his head. Mick Foley taking about 30 chair shots to the head from the Rock with his hands handcuffed behind his back.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | The Sid one has to be #1...here are some other possibilities. When Kanyon got thrown off of the Triple tier cage onto the ramp. When the Undertaker trapped the Ultimate Warrior in the coffin, they tried to get him out for 5 minutes. I remember freaking out when i was a little kid back then. WHen Papa Shango did his spells on the Warrior, making him throw up. The whole Jake the Snake angle when he got biten by the snake and lost vision in his eye. Owen Hart Tombstoning Steve Austin, giving him a temporary stinger with his neck. SHawn Michaels throwing Marty Jennety through the "Barber Shop" glass (i think it was the Barber Shop, correct me if i'm wrong) Granted, most of these might sound not too bad now, but back then, they scared the shit out of me, especially the coffin spot with the Warrior. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 01 | -when foley got hit with like 5000000000 chair shots. -angle throwing shane on his head. -justice pain(czw) mis-stepping from the top rope and falling on his head on the ground. -pretty much every time someone gets sunset flipped(thrown over there oponents head. i cant think of the right name...) i think they are going to land on there head.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | The first Hell In A Cell is a given, but the Triple H - Mick Foley one was another stunning match. When Foley got backdropped through the top of the cage and through the ring I thought he was seriously injured. When Shane McMahon jumped off the fucking Titantron and put the Big Show through a table. When Jeff Hardy jumped off the top of the 20 foot ladder, during one of the PPVs. May Young through a table. Sabu being tossed up by Chris Benoit and landing on his head. The barb wire match with Terry Funk and Sabu. Another horrifing spot was when the Hardy Boyz spoke in one of their promos. | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 01 | The Sid injury is the sickest thing I can think of. Just the way the leg snapped and hung there like a dangling piece of meat....brutal. Especially when they slo-mo'ed the thing on Nitro like it was the Zapruder tape. CZW consistently has some really sick stuff. Best example - the Justice Pain / Johnny Kashmere v. Nick Mondo / Jun Kasai match at "UnF'nbelievable". If you don't cringe at least a dozen times at that "match", than you may be a sociopath. Kasai gets cut literally to the bone. Just insane. I thought New Jack was dead. also from CZW was the weedwhacker incident at "UnF'nbelievable" when they sliced up Zandigs back. you could see the flesh flying off of him. and then they dropped the hot candle wax on the huge back cuts. i don't know if anyone ever watched W*I*N*G. it was another Japanese company that would put on sick matches(bed of nails,piranhas in a tank,fire matches). i suggest if you buy wrestling tapes to buy some old tapes of this group. there was one match on a scaffold and when the guy got thrown off and hit the ring his leg snapped in two. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | Pretty much everything from ECW, but I couldn't stand what they did to Foley! I mean, even Foley said that the "I Quit" Match really took the fun out of wrestling for him. And the Hell In the Cell match was unbelievable. He took so many poundings, even his last fall from the HHH Cell match was amazing. Sid breaking his wasn't horrifying, it was just gross! Man, and it looked like such an easy manuever to pull off too! Who said wrestling was fake....? | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 01 | -i dont know who, but in ecw on tnn, some guy jumped from the top rope into the crowd and landed on his neck on the guard rail. -when ultimate warrior was trapped with the snakes back in the day. that was horrifying :D . pretty much everything that happened back in the day. ie/marty janetty through the barber shop window; ultimate warrior in the casket. all that shit. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jul. 01 | Sickest injury I was present for was the April 2000 JAPW show that saw Kristy Kiss getting powerbombed from the ring apron through a table (the tag team she was managing, the Big Unit, were draped across the table so as to "soften the impact." Yeah right). The member of the Hit Squad doing the manuever miscalculated his point of landing, so he ended up landing on the table and the Unit, and she ended up whacking the back of her head and neck on the floor, breaking her neck. This is the spot most widely blamed for the NJ government cracking down on "extreme wrestling." | ||||
