Put on the yellow shorts and the red boots and hit his damn music, "I am a real American". Hey they used that music when patterson and brisco were making fun of him.

Who could forget as Big Show came out to Hulk's old music, with trademark mustache and hair, yellow and red through and through. And who could forget JR's famous line - "Well, for the love of Hulk!" Awesome. I have the video clip on my computer. It cracks me up every time I see it. ___________________________________________________________________ I'm bigger than the Devil combined with Schindler's list.

Austin had his run was great for the business but this guy is so stale now I can't watch him..same goes for undertaker, rock, hhh, and don't even mention that nwo bullshit. I rather watch a rerun of any ecw show or an old mid south tape then the current wwf crap....But then again what do I know. Showtimes 1:30, 3:45, 5:55, 8:10, 10:10, 12:10.

It has nothing at all to do with the fact that he's 48 fucking years old and an even worse wrestler now than he was 20 years ago. I still find it humorous how he's gotten so over with the same fans that tooled on him mercilessly just a couple of years ago. fuckin marks.

I am surprised they didn't build up the return of the yellow and red more though. I remember the yellow and red return was a whole angle in WCW. They better do that for the next PPV. The Hendrix music is ok, but youd get an even bigger response from the fans if he came out to Real American. 1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year 2. Hate the Braves with a passion 3. No matter what you think of him or his wrestling ability at this time, Hogan is OVER! Quite possibly more OVER than any other wrestler in the history of wrestling has been over at one point in time. Austin, Rock, they've gotten pops before, but christ, Hogan gets standing ovations. The fans love him again. It's fucking incredible I think that a couple of months ago people were saying, "oh shit, they are bringing back hogan again, he sucks" to now him being the biggest guy out there right now. Hanger-On Registered: Apr. 02 | quote: Gimme a break man. Sure Hogan is over now, sure he's the most over guy in the WWF, sure his merchandise is the top selling stuff out right now, but he doesn't come close to outselling Austin or Rock in merchandise, PPV and house gates. Sure he's one of the biggest draws of all time, perhaps in terms of popular longevity he has everyone beat (unless you count Inoki in Japan), but it's not like the Rock wasn't getting monster pops back in '99, Austin in '98, Goldberg in '97. EVERYONE knew Hogan was going to be big coming back, and EVERYONE knows that the comeback (an angle he has rehashed for perhaps the 5th time already) is always short-lived because the guy is an awful wrestler (not just now, but back in the eighties also). The last few ratings for the week after Hogan's big title win after Backlash have actually gone DOWN from the previous week. Last Thursday's Smackdown with Hogan's run-in was one of the worst final quarter hours Smackdown has ever drawn. Last Monday's RAW rating went DOWN during Hogan's quarter hour when he had his speech about winning the title. Everyone is just milking the nostalgia until the other shoe drops. And don't mistake it for what it really is - NOSTALGIA. Those people standing up and cheering Hogan aren't cheering for him as much as they are cheering the memory of their childhoods. HOGAN IS A LIVING RELIC. And that nostalgia pop fades as evidenced countless times in WCW and even during Hogans returns in the WWF. That's when things start to go downhill really fast because people get sick of Hogan just as fast as they embrace him but Hogan still insists being in the main events of everything. Hulkamania is running wild? Yeah let's see you say that by the end of the summer. "Cheering for Hogan is letting the terrorists win."

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | quote: I hope that's true, I was going to agree with you guys about everything on the red and yellow Hogan except for the music. IT would be seen as just cheesey 80s music, and you cant have your champion coming out to something so damn silly. A remix would be awesome. A Hogan-Big Show feud with Show impersonating Hogan would be a great angle.

O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00 | Will he be gone by the end of the summer? No fucking doubt in my mind he will. When the Rock comes back, it'll be back to business as usual with him, austin, HHH and Angle trading the belt back and forth. Vince is no dumbass, he's going to ride this hogan wave until it peters out and make as much as he can while doing it. I have no doubt about that whatsoever I'm only laughing on the outside My smile is just skin deep If you could see inside I'm really crying You might join me for a weep.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | yeah, but nobones, jr says that test is a hoss too... i think hogan is getting the run now because vince knows he will die out sooner rather than later. and anyone who thinks rock is going to jump back into the title picture is fooling themselves. rocky is giong to go make a movie in july and be gone for a few months...he will come back in june and get "hurt" or "suspended" so he can go away for a while. that SHOULD give vince the opportunity to push new people and have hogan give them the rub on his way out the door...imagine what benoit would do to hogan? or the fun promos jericho would cut on hogan (we've only seen teh beginning of that)...austin will have his turn at hogan too, or that would just be a damn shame, it shouldn't be for a title, but tehy need to get in the ring together, just for the nostalgia of it...biggest of the 80's vs. the best of the 90's...
