Austin Powers 2 wasn't better than 1 if you were looking for a spy parody instead of a shock humour fest. And let's face it, the entire "Empire can't be better than star wars because it's an entire trilogy" theory is BULLSHIT since I'm willing to bet Lucas didn't expect for Star Wars to be a trilogy in 77 (I may be wrong).
