| Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | Hawaiian punch, no doubt. i was at the 13inning playoff game where he sent one sailing over the left field fence. I was never more ecstatic in my goddamn life. I mean i got some crap seats that had birdshit on them (p row mezzanine) but it was worth it. If Appier gets his 15 wins we should be right back in there for the running. Ventura can only get better stats from his disasterous batting from last year. And if that timo perez can play like he did in the first 2 rounds of the playoffs, or at least half that much, we'll be a force to contend with. let's go mets go. who has them mets shotglasses? Keith Hernandez belongs in the HOF, hands down he's the greatest defensive first baseman ever. But thats when the mets sucked and were in the basement every year, and the yanks were good and stood a chance. But now whenever any body asks and i tell them i like both they say that i can't but guess what. I can. Cuz they're both from different leagues and cuz the yanks r always in it and the mets r unpridictalble. You never know whats gonna happen during the season with them. I Piazza, and Alfonzo r my favorite mets who r playing right now, but Nolan Ryan is my favorite retired Met.  | ||||

They won the National League Championship last year with them being slow they will survive. I think your team having a Second Baseman who cant throw the ball in the same zip code as the First Baseman is a little more of a problem than the Mets speed. | ||||

The guy is very baseball smart, and very rarely makes a mistake. Favorite all-time Met: Lenny Dykstra. "Nails" edit - I agree with you Francine. I think Rusch is going to have a breakout season.
