(and of course many posts by CBH and even an appearance by Doc Smith). As for muzzle, I think Opie said it best - "we will never be suspended for an inferior show" (of course he implied that they might get suspended if they take on Howie again). I'm glad I missed the afternoon of D&M - Cringe radio. And some wondered why I said D&M were closer to Imus - just look at their lame, hackneyed responses. As Doc pointed out, O&A have made references with songs before (other occasions besides the Allison), but they are usually much more subtle. Maybe it is time though to roll out the Enola Gay. I hope to hell that, if D&M are gone (as I hope), they don't go the Chick way and put on "worst of D&M's". If anything, put on R&F reruns, so that people who aren't exposed to R&F get a listen. And don't move R&F again. For those of you outside NY, Ron & Fez have had the amazing changing air shift. They were on late night, 10-3, and 7-11. When I heard some of D&M and their lame-ass music show, I had this thought. Who were the more pathetic - Don & Mike for playing these songs and giving away duct tape and muzzles, or the morons calling into the show to be "caller 100" to win this shit between songs? I heard a D&M promo while O&A went to commercials, looks like they may be back Monday. It's mind-blowing that Infinity has kept them on WNEW for this long. They sucked ass during tape delay, what made them think being live in NYC would be any better. Jim Norton was awesome today. The many "love you..." references were great. | Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 02 | Hey all! This is my first time posting here and I'm a recent convert to the O&A show. I live in the DC area and had listened to Don and Mike for a long time. When O&A first came on here, I hated them and wished they would fail. But, I continued to give them a chance and they grew on me to the point where I eagerly looked forward to 3pm for the show to start. And the more I listened to and enjoyed the O&A show, the more stale, lame and hackneyed the D&M show became. I still listened to D&M occassionally (mainly if the rest of the stations had nothing on), but this feud with O&A was the last straw. I listened to D&M on Friday to see what they would say about the whole thing and I couldn't believe they pulled that crap with playing songs all goddamned day! Nice job guys, what a way to punish and give the finger to your fans while trying to "make a point to management". I hope they had pacifers to suck on. O&A handled the whole thing with (for lack of a better word) class. And I loved all the passing D&M references throughout the entire show, esp. Norton's. The D&M show has been a fast sinking ship, esp the past couple of months. On April 1, they put their wives on instead on them, one day they had an all caller show where they didn't say a word and just let the callers ramble on, then they've brought Leah Remini in for the summer (yes, she's hot, but painfully obnoxious and unfunny) and then the BS on Friday. Seems like they're fresh out of ideas. So, please welcome me as a full fledged member of the O&A family as I join you in your hopes that O&A get their revenge and wipe D&M off the face of radio! | ||||

As if Friday's music show wasn't lame enough, today it's stuff that only people their age and older would listen to on some local AM station. This just goes to prove that they are in fact the biggest pussies in the radio industry. I am so looking forward to the day WNEW plays something else in place of D&M. For now I'll have to put up with Stuttering John's Out To Lunch on K-Rock. All request show my ass! Same stuff they play any other part of the day. Bow they are calling it OTL, very similar to TRL. I went out and when I came back home, it was best of. Doesn't look too happy in Don and Mike town to me.
