And anyway, the second time D&M got suspended it was because they kept giving away dog muzzles, harnesses and choke chains and a bunch of crap like that away as prizes .... So, if either one brings up the other or even eludes to the other show Infinity will probably suspend them again for awhile .... The Curse shall be lifted .... If there isn't a strike!! | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 02 | They read a four part statement, that was prepared for them from their legal people there at WJFK. It went something like: * They did not walk off the show last week * Managment told them that they could not go on the air - each day was a wait and see * Managment told them that if they went back on the air there was "certain subjects" that could not be discussed - they later said that if callers called in with those calls they would be deleted out * Managment could have kept them off the air for a very, very long time Don came right out and said that, while they would rather be able to talk about certain things, they felt it better to "eat a S(hit) Sandwich" and come back. They said that that would be all they would talk about it - and in fact read the piece of paper (titled: "What Can Be Discussed on June 10th Broadcast") four times, each time making it sound more and more like it was the legal document it was. They also said that Leah, because she doesn't want to travel - and because they don't want to do the show from LA - won't be a regular every-day thing. However, they said that she still has the equipment in her house, and when "they feel like it" she will be on the show - from time time. (They also said that they loved having her on the air, and that is was a lot of fun - so much for them never lying!!) They also sounded surprised to learn from callers that they were not live in New York. After the second one of those calls Don read a new piece of prepared announcement that simply said for people to call WNEW. Who knows what any of that means. Maybe managment decided to keep them off of NY radio for one more day, hoping to slip them in tomorrow without the hoopla and speculation and whatever. I would think that if they were really off in NY as of today, Don would have known from the start of the show - but who knows. It doesn't sound like their balls are their own; they sounded like they were beaten down by managment there. In the end, they all just want to eat. So, I have to wonder if O&A received a similar piece of paper last week, on the agreement that they be allowed one final "jab" at D&M, which was that Friday show they came back. After the pounding D&M gave them before the suspension I was surprised that they didn't really come back with more. Anyway, that's a recap of the first 15 minutes of their show today - if O&A move right by it today without any commentary about D&M I guess the on air war is off? Too bad - it would have been fun radio S/H/I/T/ | ||||

I think they realized and thought more anout their show and the fans than Don & Mike claim to have because they didn't open their mouths again and risk getting suspended for a stupid little argument .... I think they also realized that it would've hurt there ratings .... Hence, they kept their mouth shut .... I'm beginning to not like Don & Mike more and more .... I simply didn't see the hipocracy before but now I am beginning to see why so many of you hate their show .... The Curse shall be lifted .... If there isn't a strike!! | ||||
