| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I personally don't see the appeal of Korn.... I never got it. Maybe I am too old, maybe difference in musical taste (although I'd contend that I am pretty accepting of a wide range of stuff, especially when it comes to my first musical passion, that being the heavy stuff). I dont' know.. I don't get it. There's certainly nothing catchy about them... the singer is horrible, the rhythm section is mediocre, there is nothing spectacular about them IMHO. Just not digging on the whiney droning, the amorphous chord progressions, and the overall sonic masturbating they do. To each his own I suppose. Also, I'm sure O and A have a demographic to cater to when it comes to what's popular with guys our age... and seriously doubt they thoroughly enjoy everything they talk about when it comes to entertainment.... especially when it comes to things like wrestling, and music... but they have to talk about stuff that keeps us interested... us being the collective demographic they are trying to appeal to. I'd be interested to hear what Ant thinks about Korn... being a musician. Opie I could see digging on the korn since he seems to genuinely love Godsmack and the like... I don't know. Just a guess.
