Remember when D&M claimed that O&A lied about the amount of people that came to the station when they were in DC? Not for nothing, but if those are the listeners that have made D&M sooooo popular in DC for the last 15 years, I would loved to see a D&M rally in New York. I bet it would be one or two abortions. | Psychopath Registered: May. 02 | I don't think anyone suggested that those guys organized it. That's not the point. Look how many fans came out to support their favorite radio show hosts. That's some show of enthusiasm. It looks like the finish line at the Special Olympics 20-yard dash. O&A don't organize the crowds that appear at their road shows--fans just show up to party. And from what I've seen those crowds are much closer to a gazillion than the pictures here. Well, maybe not a gazillion. More like a bajillion. Oh, and I know this wasn't a D&M road show so don't try to point out that crowds are never hanging out in front on WNEW (or are they? I don't know, I live in Boston). Fans tried to organize a show of support for them in their home town and this was the result. Yechh. If I was a D&M fan and I showed up for that I'd keep walking by like I caught a glimpse of an ugly blind date before she spotted me.  | ||||
