People do not have a PROBLEM if they do not like The RC Show . . . it is just personal opinion just like you may not like Will and Grace on NBC . . . Personally I used to be a big fan of RC but she has a chip on her shoulders since the SO CALLED firing and she thinks her shit doesn't stink and she has the same power as O and A to blast management she shoudl just keep her hook nose ass face shut and kiss management's ass for keeping her around to collect a paycheck for a little longer . . . | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Ron and Fez are great. But they had a better chance for greatness, when they were on late nights. It was starting to get a cult-like audience. Her show was good when it was 4 hours long. Fire the sports guys and make DM go live from 7-11 in NY. WbenEW could be the new morning show. I showed my stuff and I graduated. | Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | R and F are absolutely classic. Their brand of radio is so refreshing. Though I liked R an F better latenights, I think they try harder and get much better listener feedback to their bits. This is a unique aspect of their show where they start a but and just let the callers run with it and make it as good as they can. Ron and Fez 7-11pm. "Gout Radio" | ||||

Fugeddaboudit, they talk about everything but sports. R&F wouldn't work in the mornings, and I don't think D&M just plain works in a NYC market, maybe Nebraska i a little closer to their demographic. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Mar. 01 | how about this: Get rid of everyone cause everyone on 'NEW other than O&A just suck huge hairy moose balls. WNEW would do better playing music again, then have O&A, then playing music again. The personalities on the station are just an abomination to radio. Sports Guys, Chick, R&F, D&M, they all g'damn suck, and none of them are bringing in the ratings 'NEW wants. I say abondon this current line up and let's try again. Lykis didn't work, Mason and Kalinski were an atrocity. Time to dispatch this current stable of unfunny people and try yet another batch of jocks, and see if anyone can do anything for NEW or if it is just a curse to work at 57th and 7th.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | Ron & Fez from 7-11 should be automatic. It was a bad call movign them in the first place. They're target demo is generally the same as OandA, and based on some of the old calls (when they were on at night) they had some even younger active listeners. If they weren't to be moved to nights, I'd like them in the morning. But Infinity should just make a move that would benefit all markets: Move Don and Mike to middays. Then you can start a trifecta of the old, long haired man in the morning, Don and Mike middays, O and A afternnons, and nights opened for whoever. Personally, I'd like Ron and Fez there nationally.  | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01 | I like the idea of R & F from 7-11. I don't understand why people have to try to compare shows to other shows though. O & A and R & F are completely different shows. They don't really do anything alike. It was like that one guy said R & F are silly in an un-wacky way. They make you laugh cause they are brutally obvious about their jokes. You don't have to think about it. O & A on the other hand make you think. A perfect example is the obscure references. It's one reason why I listen closely to every show, otherwise you won't get the references. My point is R & F are original. That's what makes them good. I don't know how anyone can say that show is boring. If anything the Radio Chick is dead ass boring. As I said before the notion of R & F 7-11 sounds good, but I say they keep them where they are. | Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | Don and Mike are popular in two big markets. Washington, DC and Sacremento. The rest of their syndication empire is podunk radio stations. The Slappy and Whappy show could do the podunk stations. Move Don and Mike to morning in DC and NY and they would get good ratings(very good ratings in DC). Slot in a midday show, syndicate Opie and Anthony to DC drive(they'd mantain Don and Mike's ratings) and put Ron and Fez on nights. Dont see why this wouldnt work and Don and Mike wanna be live in NY so bad, they would most likely agree to it. Don & Mike are going to move to middays on WNEW and WJFK giving them their dream of being on live in New York. Ron & Fez have been making a lot of comments about a time slot change, I think Opie even made one during the AFRO show the other day. Infinity is heading towards having entire stations of Stern in the morning, D & M middays, O & A afternoons, starting with DC and Sacramento. Robin's ass is so fat, her blood type is Ragu.  | ||||

Ron and Fez would be best for nights to continue the listener numbers for that demo. If the largest chunk of your demo are young males (insert Will Robinson reference here), many of whom are in school, it makes much more sense to have them on at night. I'm starting to sound like a broken record. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | Let's face it, WNEW is just afraid of sucess. Think about it, Ron and Fez get ratings, They get moved. Sports guys get ratings, Scott and Sid are removed. Chick with the help of O&A got ratings, she gets fired. Don and mike get no ratings, they stay. What does that tell you? WNEW is against sucess. It's a graveyard for show that Infinity don't want to be either sucessful, or shows that are old and tired.  OA.com's headhunter and veteran of three board attacks. Besides RC have not been that bad on management, they usually keep it in check. Bottom Line Sports Guys and D&M should be fired or played on Weekends. Move R&F to 7-11 and then find a new morning show. Radio Chick should get her time back 10-2 or maybe now 3. And with DandM's ratings so HIGH in other parts of the country they do have enough of a bargaining chip to demand to be kept in NY, so they will not be going anywhere. In fact I would not be surprised to see The Chick go bye bye and the lineup of: STERN, D&M, O&A nationally and then R&F at night in SOME (that aren't homophobic) markets across the country. And how do you know what I am and am not a fan of anyway? I used to listen to the chick when she first came to the station and still do every now and then when I cannot take another ROCK Block. IN MY OPINION she has changed since the firing and remember one thing as OandA put it themselves a HUGE chunk of her pre-firing ratings came from the OandA Best-Of's that were run from 2 to 3 but were credited to her show in the Rating Books!  | ||||
