| D&M.....too bad. They should have dumped them and gave the chick a longer show, meanwhile rearranging the lineup.
I thought she was pretty topical and entertaining.
Ok....maybe the tits did something for me too!

| I tread lightly here, as to not open a giant can of radio war worms.
I'm a DC guy, and while I'm a huge D&M fan, I am anxious to hear O&A when they get here. I've liked what I've heard so far, and I hope they land here sometime in the near future. I gotta say however, that I grew up and D&M, and while their show may have declined a little over the past couple years, they still crack me up on a daily basis. Loyalty goes a long way, and I know that a lot of the people around this board harbor some bitterness about the past between O&A and D&M. You don't have to like them, you don't have to listen, I don't really give a shit. Just don't villify me because I'm trying to fan of both shows.

Fair enough. I personally don't like D&M, but to each his own. Part of problem here was D&M dicking around with O&A back in january, but they supposedly kissed & made up.
Today on R&F, Ron asked Al Dukes to ask Jeremy if he has "an announcement" yet; Jeremy said "not yet". So while everyone in the world seems to know about the switch, WNEW still won't admit it.

| Where are R&F supposedly going? I'd love to have them live again, but if they take the 7-11 slot on NEW they're still gonna be tape delay here.

| I agree-
D + M would be a much better fit in the AM. So far D+M have been playing "Best of" segments, and WJFK has not given any "Official Reason". I am one pissed-of guy! :( |

I'm not sure but I think Jen is the one in the picture above that (top left) that Ant has his arm around. I'm guessing one of the 2 other girls is Sandy but I don't know because I've never seen her.
BTW, it's hysterical how you've become a household name at the dentist's board with only 1 post! I was thrown off that shit 4 times already (I'm using the name "Al Lambert" now), but unless people talk about CBS, nobody gives a fuck about them there...

| Any shock jocks that you can say you "grew up listening to" are probably shock jocks that should hang it up. And if your in your late twenties and you "grew up listening to" them, they should DEFINITELY hang it up.

| I started listening to D&M when I was 12, I'm 21 now. According to you, once O&A get to about 10 years together, they should just quit? I have a feeling you won't be saying that when they have listeners that have been fans for 12 years.

| D&M moved to middays so that O&A could be live in DC.
Ron & Fez rock, i'm gonna miss listening to them, I only listen to radio from 12-6. Guess I'll have to go back to listening to Mike & The Mad Dog while Don & Mike are on.

| Yes Lord, I will say that about Opie and Anthony becaue the essence of shock radio is, surprise, its shocking. When it becomes predictable and old, its time to move on(Don and Mike, Stern, Imus). There is only so many times that you can guess the secret sound or play low budget Jeopardy with bad, old celebrity impersionations. Hell, Anthony's impersionations will get old too after awhile Im sure. Thats the nature of this radio. So, yes, if you grew up listening to a shock jock that's still on the air, hes probably not shocking or very entertaining anymore.
To put it another way, it takes a rare talent to continue doing this sort of radio for more than ten years, and from what Ive heard, Don and Mike are not that rare talent.

| Sarcastro,
on a partially related topic, did you hear the end of the Wed show, when Ant did Anthony of the Future, as a guest on Has-been corner?
They understand what the pitfalls are. Hopefully they'll remember it some 10 years from now.

| Sarcasto....hey, it's cool. We're all entitled to our own opinion. Like I said before, I don't really care if you like them or not. You may be right about them for all I know. I already admitted I thought they had gone down hill over the last couple of years, and I think it's mainly because of syndication.
