I don't think anyone cares what the O&A fans think of Eddie's promo, because I doubt the majority of O&A fans are listening to Eddie's show on Saturday night. WNEW has attracted an audience that responds to these kind of non-descript, goofy production pieces. The objective is to get those audience members turned onto a show that they might not be aware of, and presenting it in a familiar fashion is one way to do that.

You might not like the promo, but it's not any more gay than O&A's "Grown Men Jumping all over each other" promo.
