He was a douchebag BEFORE O and A knew who he was, and he was a douchebag while O and A thrashed him, and now he's still a douchebag while for some reason O and A are treating him like a brother. Nothing has changed about Nik. He is a horrible DJ, he is an unfunny hack, and he's still a disco-bitch. For Opie and Anthony to call him "the man" on Friday, made me shake my head in disbelief. I understand treating professional colleagues cordially, but this is turning into the Arsenio Stern kiss-ass type of communication. Does anyone actually think that Nik Carter was behind getting Opie and Anthony into Boston? Who in their right mind thinks that Nik Carter actually wanted to be moved from the afternoon drive time (second best timeslot in radio) to pretty much the worst radio spot possible. Aside from midnight to 5 AM, what is worse than 11 to 3? The only people that are going to listen are the stoned, infirmed, and housewives. We all know that Nik is gone (thank God SOMEONE with talent is around in afternoons in Boston - it's been a black hole since they left in 98) not just from Afternoons, but from BCN pretty soon anyways. He is absolutely atrocious guys, you know it. And he's an asshole to boot. I understand that you can't shit on your lead-in in Boston, but there's also no reason to blow smoke up his ass either. Why not just call a spade a spade?
