| I'm sorry, JohnSlack, but TJLamb said it best. At this time, while they're in Afghanistan, I don't think our servicemen need or want to hear some radio show in America. I want their minds on their jobs, nothing else. Missing O&A isn't going to kill them - Afghanis will. I want them concentrating on what will kill them. While I understand your efforts, the concensus of the board is correct - if you'd like to see this program get off the ground, instead of just making the suggestion, you should extend the olive branch and begin doing something towards getting it accomplished. I could easily burn a CD of best of bits, but there's no way all of us have the time to cut a best of for every week or month of shows. Anyhow, going back to my first point, I don't think O&A should be high on a list of their priorities right now. For instance, while a Roman soldier was on a campaign, in the first century A.D., they were not allowed any contact with women, to keep them battle hardened. Soldiering is willing to sacrifice different kinds of pleasures for a while to get something accomplished. Anyway, that's my piece. Hope it made sense.
