I know that Limbaugh put out a reply to that report where he stated that most of what they are calling lies are merely different opinions from different sources. But anyway, he could be completely wrong. Just don't fall for the sham that an organization is unbiased just becuase they SAY they are or their name implies it. I've HEARD Rush make a lot of statements that left me scratching my head....... And yeah yeah yeah, the news that I just found out is two months old so, though it wasn't on the board, it has probably been covered on the show, various news sources, and most people probably already know everything about it. (So maybe it'll be on OTL next week - HA!!) But, the guy has his hearing back. I remembered reading about him potentially going in for cochlear implant if the hearing didn't return. He had lost 100% of his hearing in one ear over 90% in another due to some mystery illness. Well, it never got better, so he went in for a new procedure that was irreversible to replace his entire ear drum. If it didn't take he'd be deaf for life. But it fucking worked, and he's got 90% of his hearing back. Like I said the news came out in January initially, but I was just so shocked when I heard it that I had to bring this topic back up. | Hanger-On Registered: Mar. 02 | i used to listen to rush, then one day he was talking about a study that was done on the crime rates and gun control( the study stated that gun control was actually causing crime rates to rise).rush was using this study to support his statements. i knew the study was methodologically questionable and i wanted to bring up some arguments(raised by specific scholars, not me) on his show and his screeners wouldnt let me through.ever since then i noticed that none of his callers ever raise a strong argument against the points he makes. i don't think he wants to look like he's any less than perfect, and thats no way to run a talk radio show.(wait isn't that how howard runs things too) when it comes to weight loss, subway sandwiches go hand in hand with AIDES | ||||
