Well, I don't have personal issues with her, I have board issues with her.

If she comes back, under the stipulations that Sean presented to her, fine. She will burn herself quick enough anyway.

I, however, feel that she will not abide by those terms and she will be making the vote for 'no' herself. :P :P :P :P :P

Change me from 'Undecided' to 'Conditional' or better yet, the word of the week, 'Contingent'.

I think it all started with the Declaration of Independence -- the idea that we had the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That pursuit is what took America from the revolution to the computer age in 200 years. But the progress has come at a price. The obvious being the people that were exploited to make it possible; the not so obvious being us, the first group of people that were given no obvious frontiers to conquer. We hear stories that about the good old days that don't seem to apply anymore. It's a generation gap that leaves us without role models. But the bright side is that without role models, there are no roles. Maybe that's what the 60s were all about -- getting rid of the roles. But what do we replace them with? Without any guidance, what do we replace them with? Without any guidance, the choices become overwhelming. Sometimes it just makes everything feel hopeless. So we destroy our bodies in the search of an ideal. Try to salvage relationships that don't work. We feel we must do something, instead of doing something that we feel. It is the prison of self-imposed momentum, and the sad part is that we get used to it. It reminds me of a song I heard the other day. It's called "The Going Nowhere Fast." But the people I have met here have shown me another side of Nowhere. They've pointed out the beautiful irony that stagnation makes it easy to stop and smell the roses, if we just let it. What would we be if we had nothing to rebel against? Well we could finally be ourselves, the first group of people who stopped looking for the answers long enough to appreciate the questions. And all we have to do is to make our own Declaration of Independence. We can embrace the right to life and liberty by simply realizing that happiness exists -- not to pursue, but to accept. After that the only challenge would be to make sure with the rest of our lives that we weren't just another fad. I don't know, it's an idea. What do you think?

Think I'm gonna change mine. I forgot about the Sean stipulation. It's true. She wins if we let her back without agreeing to that first.

I'll go with Slash... no, unless she does what she has to do.

Well that's why I said by many of your posts it is hard to say if it is a yes or no? That's the idea behind a vote.

As far as KFC I'd have to say it's easier to start a new thread for him, as to not maybe clutter BTS we can delete the topic after we are done and maybe keep records somewhere? Can FTL create a page where we have records of who was brought up for reinstatement and the result wether it was yes or no.

Change mine from yes to conditional. with her though, maybe we should make it contigent upon her telling us who she got the bts info from. Kill 2 birds with one stone, as it were.

I definately agree about keeping seperate threads for each member... and 24 hours is not long enough, I think 2 days is more than enough time... but, i mean "Working Days"... If a name get's posted on a Friday, it should be carried over to the following week... some of us aren't really online over the weekend...

and back to the PB banning... it was ME who reminded you all of Sean's Stipulations...so, Gonzo, please add me to that category...

*edit - Also, I think that there should be an overwhelming majority of votes... none of this 51% crap... It should be a lopsided vote... or maybe we could do it like a jury... there's 12 of us, right???

FTL.. my vote on PB is suppossed to be Conditional.

As far as Tenbats... I'ld PREFER he not be allowed back.. but because that preference is based on personal distaste, I can not in good conscience vote against him. I'm abstaining from that vote.

Aside from her IMing me every fucking day to say Joey this and Joey that, Froy this and Froy that, I never had a problem with her. Sorry guys.

Bottom line is if she is let back and starts up again, get rid of her. Simple as that.

Oh shit, almost forgot to add this.

I'm in complete agreement with Gonzo on starting new threads for each member that wants to come back. If we were to use one for all members, it would be too hard to keep track of who we're actually voting for.
When each of us gets a request to come back, that mod should start a new thread with the banned member's name.

The only reason I brought up a time frame for voting is because some of us aren't on every day. Hell, I'm lucky if I'm on 4 days a week myself. Also, in case you didn't notice, both Buttmunch & Fez have yet to utter a word in this thread. Don't you want to give more time than 2 days for them to actually vote?

P.S. I vote yes for Tenbats and KFC as well. I don't remember them much, but I got the lowdown from FTL on why they were banned in the first place. It sounded like petty bullshit to me.

umm.. 2 things.. 1. Tenbats and KFC are the same person.. he's been banned a FEW times.

2: Not only did he go around TELLING members they should change their sig pics because HE found them offensive, he stated on the board that he hoped TFEC, a member of US armed services, would get called over seas and then shot. But not shot and killed, no, shot and crippled for life, just so that when he came back (tfec) tenbats would be able to laugh at him.
Needless to say.. BEYOND bad taste.. basicly, he boils down to seomeone who could dish it but couldn't take it.

Oh, and this pic of mine? It's been the same since, ohh... November 2000, NOT because I'm lazy.. but because he asked me to stop using it. I keep it just to piss him off.

Needless to say.. My opinion is somewhat umm.... BIASED lol

Last night Flock mentioned this to me in IM and it looks to be a point of discussion here, that is the thought of Sean's stipulations for PB's return.

If we are trying to give users a fresh start it seems very wrong that we should be holding something like that over their heads. It's one of those things that you really can't have both ways.
