| Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00  | This is totally not uncommon Gonz. Everyone at some point in time has to go through a "cutting the fat" phase. Meaning you have to move on from certain people. You keep the friends that are gonna help you out and make you happy to be with and get rid of the ones who serve no purpose in your life. And apparently this guy really serves no purpose to you other than whining and complaining about himself (a.k.a. the headache friend). I'm not gonna tell you to be a dick to this guy, but dont go out of your way to hang with him all the time. Maybe leaving him be will do him some good. Force him to go and make his own friends. This is gonna sound bad, but don't return his calls for awhile or when he does call and you answer, give an excuse to get off the phone. But maybe after a few times of this he'll get the hint and move on. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | OK see what happened to me was that i had friends that i hung out with on and off since like 6th grade, the summer before my freshman yr came around and i hung out with them every night. After HS started it all changed, i dont hang out with em anymore, cuz they dont think im "cool" enough or somthin. the only friends i have (not counting the board) are aquaintences from school. which is kinda sad, which also means i dont get out much anymore. But Gonz do what u think is the right thing man. Itll work out. We're all just monkeys!! | ||||
