| Psychopath Registered: Aug. 00 | The Episode I teaser poster was great. This one doesn't make sense because nobody really knows what that thing is so it doesn't make you think of the movie. In the Episode I posters Star Wars wasn't written very big either but you knew what the Darth Vader shadow was so you knew what the movie was. Original SWILLER - Affiliate S.T.O.N.E.R. | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | I was thinking that too (didn't post it though)because it took me awhile to realize what the things in the poster was making up the big thing. In the Truman Show you know what Jim Carrey looks like, that's why it worked. In this you have no idea what the thing is, a messed up Stormtrooper if you look close enough. And yes, it's obviously a teaser poster but episode one's teaser poster worked so well because it was so simple yet so meaningful (Anakin with the Vader shadow). Maybe not exactly subtle but what is when it comes to Lucas?
