I just know that many in the arab World hate america and that's fine! as long as they don't start crashing planes into our buildings because of that hate. because if they start doing that, then that hate is going to produce an equal and opposite reaction. quote: while not defending the venom in that statement, if you read further on i made it clear that i wanted action on those here on VISA's. I don't want EVERY moderator on here pissed at me. but I can't cower and not speak with rage and passion when what's happened is so recent that the cadavers of those AMERICANS who were slaughtered lie decomposing amidst 2,000,000 tons of concrete, metal and glass. if anybody here who's keyboard-slapped me were with the fireman picking up various limbs of their brothers and sisters, an arm here, a piece of hand there- they'd be FAR worse than me. now, I'm just like you- I haven't been to ground zero yet either, but just seeing it from afar..seeing it happen before my eyes..has me crying for BLOOD. yes. is that ugly? ....Yep. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jul. 00 | A lot of this apologizing and elaboration on previous posts could have been avoided if we all remember the first rule of this message board. I can understand posting out of rage and not thinking it through or considering the reprocusions but, it was three days ago. I am not making light of the situation but, it's been 3 days... I'm not talking to anyone specifically rather to all of us. There is a broad spectum of nationalities amoungst this boards membership. Get your emotions under control before you post. First off, I think that everyone who is talking on here should be commended for dealing with each others anger so well. second, I can't understand how turning on americans would in anyway make our coutnry better. Most Middle Eastern Americans came here to escape the kind of terrorism that hit here this week, I can only imagine the fear they felt as the countyr they fled to to protect themselves now forces them to hide b.c we are so angery that we will lash out at anyone in a turban. these reactions of fear, and anger are natural but if we dont' continue to hold on to the basic truths of our consitution andour country: freedom of speech and association, and our ability to welcome any and all who hold these things above all else than the terroirst will have done what they came to do: destroy America's idealogy and community. Slavs-Do I even need to say Stalin? Anglo-Saxons-Most of us know our history here. Africans-Hello Rwanda Hispanic-The brutal dictatorships all over the place. BTW Iranians aren't fucking arab. Jesus christ man an arab is defined by an ethnic group that speaks the Arabic Language. This can be a very wide range of peoples. And deport all people with VISAs? WTF not all people want to commit terrorism. Let's say at most 1000 arab terrorists are operating inside our borders. And I'm probably heavily overestimating that one just to make a point. Compare that to everyone else. It's the tinniest minority.
