Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Yes, it was definitely fucking cold! The thing that surprised me was the variety of directions you could see the meteors. I was expecting that you really only could see them looking toward the east, but for a while I thought I would give myself a spinal cord injury and just look directly straight up into the sky and I could see them from every direction. Definitely the coolest ones were the ones that were super bright and left that huge lingering trail that seemed to stay there for a minute or so. After a while my wife and I had to head inside, but we could still see them just by looking out the window (a MUCH warmer plan!) Good stuff though. Thank you to all the brave volunteers who brought us all together as a country, and thank you to those of you brave soldiers who will fight and have fought for our country. We are a free people because of your efforts.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Like a lot of people, I was completely unaware that this was occuring... Well, let's just say Maynard can vouge for my excitement level...I called him at 5AM to tell him all about it... It was fuggin amazing... I left NYC about 4:30AM for my drive home... once I came out of the NJ side of the Holland tunnel, I saw (what I thought was) a shooting star...then another... and another... and another... truly captivating... It was like the sky was raining white light... I'm so glad I was able to witness this.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | I only watched it for 40 minutes. I was too tired, cold and the city lights were fucking it up anyway. But from what I did see, it was actually pretty amazing. Must have been great to be living on a farm..
