I almost scored one today, some fucker came in at the last minute and outbid me. And I have never (on my current boxes) gotten disabled due to a "bullet" - they used to do shit like that when their netoworks were mainly analog, but now that they are a little analog and a little digital, I heard they can't send them out anymore. Besaides, the fix to the bullet was to unplug the box from the wall for 5 minutes, plug it back in and you were fine (internal reset).  You can reach me through AIM or email. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Yeah... we get 4. Playboy, Adlt something or other which eventually turns into Playboy Europe or something at night, Spice and Spice II. All those plus about 10 PPV channels which are always showing the same goddamn thing. Truthfully, I don't feel like I'm getting that much more for having it. Ps... I bought my box from a couple of black dudes who came to my apt and set it up. Paid in cash. It was definitely a shady situation!!!

Then It sends a shut down message to ALL boxes connected to it. If this is the case, are you safe if you're a paying subscriber that just descrambles the pay channels? | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I don't have cable anymore because my hate for Cablevision is so strong so now I can't get a black box. However, I did have directv and was using the computer and the emulator and the h card but directv fucked that up. I was cleaning it with the kalyna file buit that stopped because Directv was fucking up the cards every day or every other day. | ||||
