I remember Herman's Head, I loved that show. And here's another oldie but goodie which probably got all the pedophiles happy- "Small Wonder" which also boasts the BEST THEME SONG EVER. It's about this 14 year old girl who's a robot invented by the father.

Rommel - good call on the '70s PI/Cop shows. Let me add a couple to the list:

Hawaii 5-O
Rockford Files

And a couple from the 80's:

Magnum PI
Hunter

Sometimes the best, are the least obvious as Cap't Fudge referenced The Rockford Files. I think Columbo is right up there also. Great scripts.

Some other 70's classics:

Emergency

The Rookies

S.W.A.T.

Vegas

The Streets Of San Francisco

And, who loves ya baby, KOJAK

It's funny, a friend of mine was just telling me the only reason he got cable was because Rockford Files was back on the air again after so many years.....

remember Barney Miller, too?

Jim Rockford solves the case just by BSing, bluffing and being a smart ass. What's not to love about that show? I'll have to get cable now.

I loved the Barney Miller when they ate the pot brownies.

Manimal! I am glad to know someone else saw that show.I'm suprised no one mentioned "The White Shadow".

There was a show on Ch 4 in the 80's. It was about Ninjas. It starred Lee Van Cleef and one of Dick Van Patten's kids. It had Sho Kasugi as the bad ninja. Does anyone remember the name of it?

ok. how about this late 80's /90's show. SAVED BY THE BELL , with the orignal cast. not the newer casts.. but the original cast. those three chicks were hot...
and how about " you cant do that on televison" with a teen alanis morrisette, who looked like a little boy.
